A small Austrian village in a sunny valley surrounded by the striking high rise Ötscher Mountain, where you can get rid of the routines of the everyday life and enjoy the charming view of the rolling hills, the fluffy-fleecy curled clouds over the ragged mountains or the snow-capped peaks.

We are in the beautiful Lower Austria - Lackenhof is a tiny holiday village of Mostviertel region. The town is located at an altitude of 810 m and is a popular holiday destination for hikers and cyclists. The 1893 m high Oetscher - the "father mountain" - is a real paradise for skiers and winter sports enthusiasts.

The Haus Royal Apartment House would like to contribute to the unique experiences of the countryside, and offer a place, where weary hikers, sports enthusiasts and holidaymakers can relax, and then start a new day with renewed vigor to explore green Alpine meadows or conquer snowy peaks.

When we designed our apartments in this beautiful setting, our intention was to provide our guests with a nature-friendly atmosphere as possible. We used 100% natural materials as Passive house. The basic material is wood, a priority aspect of the design is energy and environmental awareness.

Our guests can choose of 2 fully equipped apartments in one of the most modern and latest apartment houses of Lackenhof; in familiar surroundings, just 2 minutes’ walk from the ski lift.

Our apartments:

1. "Bear" apartment: 50 m2, for 4 people, fully equipped, wheelchair accessible apartment.

2. "Marmot" apartment:  50 m2, for 4 people, fully equipped, wheelchair accessible apartment.

The fitness garden and the luxury Finnish sauna with the recreation area around  in the basement, for 6 people, have been designed to offer full comfort and relaxation. They can be used for a fee by our guests.
